Our Pension Scheme is well run and we are kept informed
of the state of the Fund through regular publications and the annual
consultative meeting. However, there are THREE parties to the scheme – the
Company, the Active Members who are represented by the trades unions, and the
beneficiaries who are represented by NABSP, now a branch of UNITE. The interests of all three
parties are inevitably different and it is vital that the beneficiaries have
adequate competent representatives to present their views and protect their
interests.
